ODJFS Releases Final Fiscal Year 2007 Prices
The Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) has released final prices that will be used in the fiscal year 2007 rate-setting process. Providers should be receiving their fiscal year 2007 rate-setting document in the next few weeks. These prices have changed slightly from the data released earlier in March of this year. According to ODJFS, the price changes are the result of some calendar year 2003 cost reports being amended and other database “clean up” issues. The price comparison is as follows:

In the above table, CSA 1 refers to the Cincinnati peer group. The CSA 2 peer group consists of most other urban areas in the state (Cleveland, Toledo, Dayton, Columbus), and Other refers to the remaining counties. L and S refer to large (100 beds or more) and small facilities (less than 100 beds), respectively. Facility-specific prices calculated using the peer group prices will be used to compare with the facility’s fiscal year 2006 rate for purposes of the 2 percent stop-loss/stop-gain provision in House Bill 66.
