Southfield, Mich. — Accounting Today recently announced its annual list of the “Top 100 Most Influential People.” This year, three staff from Plante & Moran made the list: Firm Managing Partner, Bill Hermann; Group Managing Partner and newly appointed AICPA chair, Leslie Murphy; and Technology & Process Consulting Manager, Mike Dickson.

“The accounting profession is led by a variety of talented, exemplary people,” said Bill Hermann, Managing Partner of Plante & Moran. “We’re honored to be among them.”

While CPAs continued to dominate this year’s list, it also includes attorneys, regulators, educators, and representatives from the vendor community. Each year the editorial staff at Accounting Today develops a list of candidates, which is painstakingly whittled down to 100.
