Southfield , MI – Plante & Moran, PLLC is among the founding members of Praxity AISBL , a new international alliance of independent accounting firms that was launched April 10, 2007. With global reach via an alliance of dynamic international, national and regional firms, Praxity opens new options for businesses that require global accounting and tax services.
Praxity will serve existing global businesses that need top tier auditing and accounting expertise, as well as fast growing businesses that need international support in addition to local services in their home market. These services will be delivered by firms who are committed to the high standards required in international business.
Praxity brings together key member firms from the former Moores Rowland International (MRI) alliance, and Mazars, one of the world’s largest worldwide accounting firms.
Praxity member firms are leading service providers in their geographic markets with deep experience advising the same kinds of clients as those served by Plante & Moran. The alliance will formally begin operations with coverage in more than 65 countries and combined 2006 revenues of approximately $2.4 billion. Organized as a not-for-profit organization under Belgian law (AISBL), Praxity is headquartered in London.
