Plante & Moran Launches 2008 North American International Auto Show Website
Southfield, Mich. — October 31 — Plante & Moran, PLLC, the 12th largest CPA and business consulting firm in the United States, recently launched the 2008 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) website, sponsored by the Detroit Auto Dealers Association (DADA). Plante & Moran was awarded the design and development of the NAIAS website based on the creative design and successful relationship built from the 2007 website development project.
“When developing the new site, we wanted to add to the strong base that Plante & Moran helped us build in 2007.” said Aaron Lambrix, project manager, NAIAS. “Using the content management solution Plante & Moran implemented last year, we were able to make several enhancements to the site that were both cost and time effective.”
Upgrades to the 2008 site focused on streamlining the site navigation and creating greater usability by adding more visuals, consolidating information, and adding flash features that give users a clear snapshot of auto show events. In addition, Plante & Moran will play an integral role in moving the site to multiple servers that will help effectively manage heavy website traffic.
“The new website went live in October 2007 and has already had a great deal of traffic that is steadily increasing as we draw closer to the show, “said John Pielak, creative lead, Plante & Moran. “The NAIAS is a great event that draws attention from across the world and we feel very fortunate to be a part of it.”
