Bill Stone joined Plante Moran Financial Advisors in 2003 following six years with a national financial counseling firm where he provided personal financial and investment counseling services to senior level corporate executives, officers, and high net worth individuals.  His areas of expertise include investment consulting and personal financial planning.  

Bill received his bachelor of science degree from State University of New York at Buffalo and his master of business administration degree from Wayne State University.  His professional affiliations include the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards and the Financial Planning Association.






Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
