Bob Palmer directs Plante Moran Financial Advisors, an affiliate of Plante & Moran PLLC. For more than 20 years, he has provided personal financial planning services to wealthy individuals and families. Bob has particular expertise in coordinating investment strategies, estate planning, income tax planning, and mutual fund strategies into a well-designed plan. Additionally, he helps families design and implement family offices to meet their special needs. Bob’s management responsibilities include planning and forecasting, monitoring current practices, motivating staff to meet the groups’ objectives, and career development.

Bob received his bachelor or arts degree from Michigan State University. He holds professional memberships in the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the International Board of Standards and Practices for Certified Financial Planners. He is also a board member of Plante Moran Trust and Plante Moran Insurance Agency. In 2000, Bob was named to Crain’s Detroit Business’ annual “40 Under 40” for his role in creating Plante Moran Financial Advisors.

Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. owns the certification marks CFP®, CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ and federally registered CFP (with flame design) in the U.S., which it awards to individuals who successfully complete CFP Board’s initial and ongoing certification requirements.
