Practical Accountant Magazine Honors “Innovative” Plante Moran Trust
Southfield, Mich. — Plante & Moran was recently honored by Practical Accountant magazine, whose September edition features their annual Practice Innovation Awards. These awards recognize accounting firms that are taking the lead in developing new or improved services and promoting efficiency in the practice of public accounting.
The innovation of Plante Moran Trust certainly qualifies, as it’s extremely uncommon for accounting firms to offer formal trust services. However, our clients had been clamoring for trust services for years; in keeping with our desire to serve clients’ needs in the most efficient and effective manner, Plante Moran Trust was formed in 2002. Today it’s flourishing, with managed assets exceeding $200 million.
It’s interesting to note that this is not the first year that Plante & Moran has received this honor; two years ago, Practical Accountant recognized the firm for our “Expertised Help Desk.”
