Plante Moran Trust’s Sandra Campbell Wins Distinguished Volunteer Award

The Association of Fundraising Professionals to honor Campbell at National Philanthropy Day Dinner on November 15

Southfield, Michigan — October 8, 2007 — Sandra Campbell of Plante Moran Trust will receive a Distinguished Volunteer Award at the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ National Philanthropy Day Dinner on November 15 at the Dearborn Inn. Campbell was nominated for the award due to her tireless contributions to Leave a Legacy®, a public awareness program sponsored by the National Committee on Planned Giving to benefit all types of charitable causes and organizations.

Campbell served as co-chair of Leave a Legacy® from 2004–2007 and is past president of the Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan. “Leave a Legacy® is concerned with leaving a bequest of property or cash to support the charity of one’s choosing via will or trust,” says Campbell. “This is a cause that’s very close to our hearts, as an integral component of Plante Moran Trust is advising clients on setting long- and short-term philanthropic goals. I’m very honored to be receiving this award and look forward to continuing to raise awareness about this valuable program.”
