Sharon has extensive experience in commercial insurance coverages and claims, as well as extensive forensic accounting experience, including: analysis of embezzlement schemes, record re-creation, fraudulent documents, financial condition, damage measurement, personal injury calculations, wage loss benefits under Michigan No-Fault law, calculation of business income and extra expense damages, preparation of issue summaries for settlement or trial purposes, and expert witness testimony at deposition and trial.
Sharon is an active member of several professional organizations including: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, Institute of Management Accountants, National Association of Insurance Women, American Woman’s Society of Certified Public Accountants, The Society of CPCU, Women’s Economic Club, and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners.
Sharon holds a Bachelor of Arts, Accounting and Financial Administration (with honors) from Michigan State University.
