Tim’s experience includes professional services in the areas of accounting, auditing, tax, and management consulting with areas of specialization in the valuation of business interests and the determination of damages. Tim has valued hundreds of businesses and business interests in a variety of industries for numerous purposes, including shareholder and partner disputes, divorce, employee stock ownership plans, gift and estate taxes, purchase price allocations and goodwill accounting, corporate restructurings, condemnation awards, sales, and acquisitions. Tim has served as a consultant, expert witness, umpire, court-appointed expert, and court-appointed special master, and has also been involved in working with the Examiner for Enron.
Tim's professional affiliations include: Accredited Senior Appraiser – American Society of Appraisers, Past Chairman – Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants Litigation Support Committee, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and Adjunct Professor – Business Valuation – Walsh College.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Arts, Accounting, from Michigan State University.
