City of Ann Arbor Selects Plante & Moran's Web Development Team to Design New Website 

Southfield, Michigan — June 2, 2006 — Plante & Moran, PLLC, has been selected by the City of Ann Arbor to overhaul its existing web presence in favor of a site that’s both more appealing and easier to maintain. Plante & Moran’s Web Development team, part of the firm’s Technology Consulting & Solutions practice, was selected from several vendors to transform the existing City of Ann Arbor site.

“We selected Plante & Moran for a variety of reasons,” says Pam Antil, Assistant to the City Administrator for the City of Ann Arbor. “We’d worked with the firm before, and had always been pleased with their work. In addition, we were very impressed with the Web Development Team’s broad experience and the work they’d done for other public agencies, both from a creative and technical perspective.”

Antil continues, “It’s been a few years since we’ve updated the look of our site, and feedback from City Council members and staff reflected that parts of the site were difficult to navigate. The goal is to do something eye-catching and sustain community interest yet still provide all of the information that residents need.
