Automation Alley, a technology consortium sponsored by Oakland County, turned to Plante & Moran to update its website. After receiving Plante & Moran’s deliverables from the original request to redesign specific elements of the site, the organization decided a complete site overhaul was needed based on the improved look and functionality.
The final solution incorporated custom development with Active Server Pages (.NET), Microsoft’s Content Management Server and Microsoft SQL.

Plante & Moran designed and developed a comprehensive content management solution for the Birmingham Public Schools, which incorporated customizable websites at the district, building, and teacher levels. Within only a few months, and with very little training required, teachers were creating entire mini-sites on the web. Another highlight included a district-wide calendar.

Plante & Moran implemented a content management solution combined with a sophisticated current rates engine, all packaged in a streamlined and sophisticated design. The site was created with several database-driven features that allow visitors to have an ever-changing user experience and permit Greektown staff to make extensive content updates without vendor intervention.

Plante & Moran helped LCPS establish a web strategy for their public site, and developed the final solution in less than one month. Fully database driven, the site currently provides the ability for any of the District’s 1,200 staff to securely and easily edit and publish content.
The solution incorporated custom development with Active Server Pages (.NET), Microsoft’s Content Management Server, Windows SharePoint Services and Microsoft SQL. Other services included development of a web-based call accounting system, as well as creative services in redesigning LCPS’s logo and identity suite. This site won an eHelen Award for usability.

In another site redesign project, Plante & Moran deployed the new msgcu.org site in August 2002. The visual design and user interface were completely overhauled and an administrative interface was developed to allow MSGCU staff to make content changes. Many pages featured tightly integrated dynamic and static content.
This site's dynamic elements were developed using ASP .NET and Microsoft SQL.
This site won a Diamond Award from the CUNA (Credit Union National Association) Marketing Council.
