Plante & Moran Elects Nine New Partners
SOUTHFIELD, MI. — Plante & Moran, PLLC, one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, has elected the following nine new partners effective July 1, 2009:
Jim Baird, CPA, CFP®, CIMA®, is the Chief Investment Strategist for Plante Moran Financial Advisors and serves as a member of its Research and Investment Committees. He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst as designated by IMCA and is one of only approximately 5,700 individuals to hold this prestigious designation. Baird is located in the firm’s Kalamazoo, Mich. office.
Scott M. Chaudoir, CPA, provides assurance, tax, and business consulting services to clients in the construction, real estate, manufacturing, and transportation industries. In addition, he serves in a leadership role for the firm’s Real Estate and Construction practice in Ohio. Chaudoir is located in the firm’s Toledo, Ohio office.
Paul Edwards, CPA, provides assurance, tax, and business consulting services to domestic and foreign manufacturing enterprises. He has significant experience providing benefit plan assurance and consulting services. Edwards is located in the firm’s Macomb, Mich. office.
Dean Feenstra, CPA, is the firm’s tax leader for the service industry and Greater Michigan tax leader for the financial institution practice. He specializes in business consulting, tax planning, and compliance for businesses within these industries. He also focuses on closely held companies, high net worth individuals, and stock option planning. Feenstra is located in the firm’s Grand Rapids, Mich. office.
Michael Johnson, CFP®, provides clients of Plante Moran Financial Advisors with comprehensive wealth management services. He has significant expertise in investment management, estate planning, and insurance planning. Johnson is located in the firm’s Southfield, Mich. office.
Kirsten Lescher, CPA, is the primary technical specialist for Plante & Moran’s not-for-profit industry group and leader of its Chicagoland employee benefit plan audit practice. She is located in the firm’s Elgin, Ill. office.
Jason Marvin, CPA, provides a wide range of audit, review, compilation, tax, and general business services for clients in the manufacturing, distribution and construction industries. He leads Plante & Moran’s West Michigan construction and real estate practice and is on the Grand Rapids office manufacturing and distribution leadership team. Marvin is also a member of the firm’s professional standards team. Marvin is located in the firm’s Grand Rapids, Mich. office.
Scott Sneckenberger, CPA, is an international business consultant, a member of Plante & Moran Global Services, and leads the firm’s Mexican consulting practice. He assists manufacturing companies in the automotive industry with wholly owned foreign enterprises, joint ventures, mergers, acquisitions, strategic market analyses, transfer pricing studies, and import/export concerns. Sneckenberger is located in the firm’s Auburn Hills, Mich. office.
Jason Thomas, CPA, provides audit, tax, and business consulting services to manufacturing and distribution companies with international operations. Jason is located in the firm’s Auburn Hills, Mich. office.
