Plante & Moran's Patel Named "40 Under 40" by Crain's Detroit Business
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Plante & Moran, PLLC, one of the nation’s largest accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Raj Patel, partner in the firm’s Southfield office, has been named to the Crain’s Detroit Business 2009 “40 Under 40” list. The list recognizes the best and brightest in Southeast Michigan who are under 40 years of age and exemplify the brainpower, creativity, and business savvy that can rebuild the region.
Patel is an expert in information security and leads Plante & Moran’s security assurance practice. He works with businesses to minimize their information security risks, penetration testing, and compliance with various security related regulations and standards. He has more than 17 years of information technology and financial audit experience in financial institutions, automotive, manufacturing, and government industries.

Patel holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from University of Missouri and is a Chartered Certified Accountant (UK), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA). He currently resides in Milford with his wife, Jackie and two children, Priyanka and Sajan.
