SOUTHFIELD, Michigan — Plante & Moran, PLLC, one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, has elected six new partners and one affiliated entity member effective July 1, 2010.
Gregory J. Cahalan, CPA, provides tax consulting services to clients in the real estate industry. He specializes in structuring transactions involving LLCs, partnerships, and S Corporations and consults with sponsors of, investors in, and developers of properties that employ federal and state real estate incentive tax credits.
Brian Franey, CPA, provides external and internal accounting, tax planning, and merger and acquisition accounting services to clients in the financial institution, real estate, and construction industries. He has significant experience related to SEC reporting and regulations and Sarbanes-Oxley 404 implementation and facilitation.
Doug Hockenbrocht, CPIM, focuses on improving manufacturers’ operational performance through information technology (IT). His specific areas of expertise include IT due diligence, ERP assessment, selection, and implementation, project management, and contract negotiation.
