SOUTHFIELD, Mich., — Plante Moran, PLLC, one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, has elected eight new partners.
Robert Bondy, CPA, is based in the Grand Rapids office and focuses on internal and external audits of community banks and credit unions. Bondy has extensive experience with companies registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Additional practice areas include higher education and closely held distribution companies.
William Brickey, CPA, is based in the Southfield office and focuses on audit, tax, and consulting services to retail automotive dealerships and governmental entities.
Nathan Buchalski, JD, is based in the Ann Arbor office and is the leader of the Tax Solutions Practice at Plante Moran. His practice focuses on cost segregation, fixed asset recovery, fixed asset software, research and development tax credits, the Domestic Producers Activities Deduction and various tax accounting methods.
Mark D. Corombos, CPA, CFP, is based in the Auburn Hills office, and is an officer of Plante Moran Financial Advisors, where he acts as his clients’ personal CFO, advising high-net-worth individuals and families on investment strategy development and monitoring, while incorporating income tax planning, estate planning, charitable gifting and wealth transfer strategies.
Matthew S. Denman, CPA, is based in the Northwest Chicago (Elgin) office and focuses on business and individual taxation, primarily in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries. His clients include privately held and private equity-owned companies as well as international active businesses.
Scott Eiler, PMP, is based in the Southfield office and focuses on information technology consulting, providing government clients with risk mitigation services related to technology spending, including IT sourcing analysis and selection, ERP lifecycle management, IT strategic planning and IT assessment services.
Christopher Goodwin, CPA, is based in the Cincinnati office and focuses on assisting middle-market, privately held manufacturing and distribution companies with international inbound and outbound tax issues. He also works with private equity companies on due diligence and tax structuring pre-acquisition and tax planning and compliance, post-acquisition.
Matt Wescott, ASA, is based in the East Lansing office and is the leader of Plante Moran’s healthcare valuation practice. He has more than 18 years of experience in valuation, financial reporting and corporate finance, including valuations and consulting engagements involving hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices, senior care/assisted living facilities and other healthcare entities, including joint ventures. He has also worked in a variety of other industries, including agriculture, construction, distribution, manufacturing, real estate, recycling, retail, service and technology.
