Flint, Mich. — Plante Moran, the nation’s 12th largest public accounting and business advisory firm, announces that Ken Leslie has been named Office Managing Partner for the firm’s Flint office. He succeeds Dave Gibbons, who has been Office Managing Partner since Flint-based BKR Dupuis & Ryden merged with Plante Moran in 2005. Gibbons is planning to retire from the firm in July, 2013.
Ken Leslie has more than 33 years at Plante Moran. Prior to joining the Flint office in 2010, he served for several years as the firm’s Director of Assurance Service and as Office Managing Partner of the Macomb office. He holds a degree in accounting from Western Michigan University and is active in numerous civic and professional organizations. Speaking about his new position, Leslie says he is excited to take the helm at the Flint office.
“There’s a definite energy emerging in Flint and Genesee County, and I am pleased to be leading Plante Moran’s Flint office during this new era,” affirms Leslie. “I also want to acknowledge Dave Gibbons for the terrific work he’s done with Plante Moran for the past seven years and many years with his previous firm, both as the leader of the Flint office and for his commitment to the greater Flint community.”
