— Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, today announced its fall webinar series that will focus on a variety of actionable general business topics and several targeting specific industries.
The series of 18 webinars will begin on Sept. 19 with “Best-in-class approaches to ERP strategy and performance” and end on Dec. 12 with “Buying innovation is an option.” Eight of the webinars will be presented via video.

On Thursday, Oct. 17, a one-on-one conversation with Dr. Michael Barber, chief medical officer with National Church Residences – the nation’s largest not-for-profit developer and manager of affordable senior housing and services – will be led by Plante Moran’s National Healthcare Practice Leader Matt Weekley. The two will discuss the current status of consolidation in the senior care and services industry as well as the affiliation models in the changing landscape of senior care.

The results of Plante Moran’s 2013 Innovation Quotient survey indicate that seven out of 10 organizations are convinced that they will be more successful with innovation if they collaborated. The majority of survey participants had a history of collaborating with suppliers and customers, but some were branching out and looking at small entrepreneurial companies and universities to collaborate with on innovation.
