Plante Moran Partner Jason Drake Named to Crain’s “40 Under 40”
Jason Drake, a partner in Plante Moran’s Auburn Hills office, has been name to Crain’s Detroit Business’s “40 Under 40,” which recognizes young achievers based on factors such as financial impact and community leadership.
An audit partner with the firm, Drake’s practice focuses on providing assurance and consulting expertise to clients engaged in international business. He spends a significant portion of his time working with international clients in the manufacturing, distribution and service industries in China, Europe, India and Mexico.
Drake led the formation and manages the operations of Plante Moran’s Mumbai, India, location, is a member on the firm’s international advisory board, and is the leader of the international assurance group. He has been integral in building an international alliance for the firm and growing the international practice. Drake also helped lead the formation of Plante Moran’s international concierge desk, which is a one-stop location for international audit, tax or consulting needs for the firm’s clients.

Active in the international community, he is a member of the Automation Alley — International Business Services Advisory Council, United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, Detroit China Business Association and the Asian Pacific American Chamber of Commerce. He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
Drake holds a bachelor of arts from Michigan State University.
