Sharon Ulep joins Plante Moran’s healthcare consulting strategy and operations practice

Southfield, Mich. – Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Sharon Ulep has joined the firm as a principal in its healthcare consulting strategy and operations practice.

Ulep, who will work out of the firm’s Southfield office, specializes in healthcare consulting and process improvement program deployment with a focus on quality, patient safety and process efficiencies using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. In her new role, she’ll work with Plante Moran’s healthcare clients to help them with care delivery, connect and engage patients, and become healthy, profitable organizations.

Prior to joining Plante Moran, Sharon was the Lean throughput engagement director and Master Black Belt in the clinical division at Community Health Systems.

Ulep is a GE Certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and a GE Certified Master Change Agent. A supporter of the community, she’s also active in Habitat for Humanity and the Redford Brightmoor Initiative.
