For 10 years, I coached girls’ travel softball teams, and a few of those teams placed well in nationals. I’ve also completed five triathlons with somewhat decent times.

Experience

I give management, investors, and stakeholders confidence that the value they have for equity-related interests and intangible assets satisfies all tax, financial reporting, and transaction requirements. A significant part of my practice is in private equity and venture capital-funded companies, and I specialize in valuations for equity compensation, intangible assets, buyouts, and complex securities.

My clients are private and public companies in services, technology, manufacturing, distribution, and financial institutions. I’m nationally recognized as having expertise in the valuation of profits interests in limited liability companies.

As a valuation professional, I strongly believe our value is the specialized skills and knowledge we’ve developed over many years, which guides our ability to make successful decisions. Our clients should be assured they don’t have to go it alone. No matter their company’s unique dynamics — and no matter how small or complex — we can help them navigate positive outcomes for profits and growth.

I’ve presented at a number of conferences and webinars, including the AICPA and the ASA, on the valuation of equity compensation. I’ve produced or published over a dozen articles, which have appeared in professional journals and websites.

As an active member of my industry, I participate in the ASA, the NASPP, and the NCEO. I earned my B.A. in economics from Northwestern University and my M.B.A. in finance from their Kellogg Graduate School of Management.

When I’m not working with clients, I enjoy being outdoors, building things, and skiing and tennis.
