Best in class attraction, retention, development and advancement of women leaders at Plante Moran
Equal presence, impact and influence from men and women at all levels of the Firm.
For the last 25 years, more than 50 percent of accounting major college graduates have been women. While Plante Moran's hiring has reflected this trend and our turnover rates are among the lowest in the profession, our Women in Leadership initiative (“PM WIL”) is designed to help the firm keep pace with changing demographics while maintaining and accelerating our ability to attract and retain women leaders
Plante Moran’s Women in Leadership initiative is driven via four key strategies, the first of which is insuring that our project has dedicated leadership, management team involvement, and coordinated activities and programs. Our strategies also will focus on increasing the visibility of women leaders internally and externally, and will provide targeted developmental career opportunities in order to retain and advance women leaders. Finally, we will continue our work on developing customized career and life integration strategies that complement the firm’s existing successful work life programs.
Managing Partner Gordon Krater is the management team sponsor, and the Women in Leadership initiative is being led by Sue Perlin who serves as the Partner Sponsor.
