The Executive-to-Executive speaker series for leaders in the nonprofit sector will feature a presentation on Civic Engagement presented by Sterling Speirn, President and Chief Executive Officer of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation on Tuesday, January 22, 2013.
The Executive-to-Executive Leadership Development Series was designed for current and future not-for-profit leaders and board members, and consists of affordable presentations featuring prominent leaders who are making a difference in the social sector. This four-part speaker series is offered through a partnership of the United Way for Southeastern Michigan, Michigan Nonprofit Association, Plante Moran, Blender Consulting Group, the McGregor Fund, and the Center for Nonprofit Management at Lawrence Technological University.
Program: Sterling Speirn, President of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, will speak on the topic of Civic Engagement and the Kellogg Foundation’s belief and commitment to supporting civic/community engagement as part of an overall change strategy to create the conditions of success for vulnerable children.
