This 60-minute session hosted by members of Plante Moran’s Religious Institutes team will address the planned changes to the FASB standards for the presentation of not-for-profit financial statements and will discuss items that religious institutes will need to address in order to ensure they are compliant with the new rules. They will also cover information on the new lease accounting standard, which requires most leases to be recorded on the balance sheet. These changes will have a significant impact on religious institutes’ accounting and reporting practices.
