This year Plante Moran’s Innovation Quotient Survey asked specific questions about the status of innovative practices among healthcare providers. We will use the survey findings as a jumping off point for discussion about the urgent need for entrepreneurial mindsets in the industry and how providers can create a culture of innovation, nurture it, and ultimately benefit from it through reduced costs, improved quality outcomes, and better consumer experiences.
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
- Understand the state of innovation among healthcare providers who participated in the 2012 Innovation Quotient Survey
- Apply information about best practices in healthcare provider innovation to their own organizations
- Implement a culture of innovation within their own organizations to reduce costs, increase patient satisfaction, and improve quality outcomes
