No Excuses: Strategically Creating a Modern Independent Living Environment
Plante Moran Living Forward’s Jamie Timoteo and MKM Architecture + Design’s Dodd Kattman will present “No Excuses: Strategically Creating a Modern Independent Living Environment” on Monday, May 6, from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.
Consumers are increasingly shopping for an independent living experience that is different from the traditional continuing care model. As preferences continue to change, the desire for a more socially active and purpose-driven existence is redefining the quality of life that modern independent living providers must provide.
How can we ensure these needs and desires are being met while remaining true to our organizational mission? We will respond to questions and explore emerging strategies supporting planning, design, financing, market position, and operation of a new and unique independent living campus. We will also highlight the challenges and opportunities facing all of us as we consider the shifting market and emerging trends within the industry.
Positioning for Success Under the Patient-Driven Payment Model
Plante Moran’s Jeff Heaphy will host an executive breakfast on Tuesday, May 7, from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. titled “Positioning for Success Under the Patient Driven Payment Model.”
Enjoy breakfast while sharing solutions with your peers! In a recent survey, providers were asked to share their greatest concerns and challenges, and the results show that you are faced with more challenges than ever before. This session will focus on sharing financial and benchmarking data for PDPM, VBP, and QRP.
We will demonstrate how rates are calculated under PDPM, understand rate tapering, review clinical drivers under PDPM, discuss ICD 10 coding, and present practical solutions in advance of the October 1, 2019, implementation date.
