As happens every year on the Tuesday after Labor Day weekend, Michigan’s 1.5 million public school students headed back to the classrooms. But this year, students and faculty from eight districts came back to renovated, updated, and beautified education environments after a productive summer of construction.

Plante Moran Cresa’s K-12 team oversaw approximately $85 million dollars in the 10-week “construction season,” improving the education environment for more than 55,500 students among our eight district clients currently under construction. This number breaks our record from last summer of $72 million in construction.

Thank you to all the districts who have made us a part of their teams as they work to improve their facilities. Together we were able to make this summer a success.

Plante Moran Cresa has helped many districts plan for and execute their capital projects, and we would be glad to help yours as well. Let’s make next summer a success for your district — contact us today.
