While your partner might know how you take your coffee or the punchline to that joke you always like to tell, he or she probably doesn't know you as well as Facebook does.

Many of us are concerned by this in light of recent news about the depth of data Facebook has been collecting and marketing. While we thought Facebook was just documenting our activity on the platform, we didn't necessarily think it could access data on our phones or desktops. By allowing Facebook to access our address books or camera apps, the company has had the ability to access all the data within those apps, too.
