Plante Moran Cresa (PMC), the corporate real estate consulting team affiliated with Plante Moran, is pleased to announce the promotions of the following practice staff:

Adam Burgess, Senior Vice President

Adam is part of Plante Moran Cresa’s transaction management team. He specializes in leasing and acquisition services primarily for industrial and manufacturing based clients. His expertise in site selection, as well as the negotiation of state and local tax incentives, has consistently yielded successful results for clients nationwide. Adam earned a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business.

Mike Carl, Senior Vice President

Mike, who is also part of Plante Moran Cresa’s transaction management team, has more than 11 years of real estate experience. Focused on office and retail tenant representation, Mike assists clients with national site selection, real estate consulting, and portfolio management. Mike received his bachelor’s degree in sports management and communications as well as a master’s degree in kinesiology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.

Erica Holton, Senior Vice President

Erica is also part of Plante Moran Cresa’s transaction management team. She brings over 14 years of experience executing complex commercial real estate transactions and managing corporate real estate portfolios. Her expertise encompasses tenant representation, acquisition, disposition, and workplace strategy consulting. Erica has Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland and a Juris Doctor from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Rob Kakoczki, Vice President

Rob, a program manager with Plante Moran Cresa, has more than 19 years’ experience in the higher education, healthcare, government, commercial, and industrial fields. When helping clients plan and implement successful capital projects, Rob brings both project management insight and a strong sense of collaboration. Rob has a degree in construction science and management from Western Michigan University.

John McCarroll, Vice President

John, who is also a program manager with Plante Moran Cresa, has been in the construction industry for over 15 years, managing healthcare, institutional, and government projects. In particular, John has deep devotion for the acute care sector because of the long-term benefits top-notch healthcare institutions bring to communities. John holds a Bachelor of Science in construction management and an Associate in Applied Science in building construction technology from Ferris State University.
