As these communities reach the other side of the pandemic, they’ll have two choices: stay on the same path or take advantage of new opportunities to expand their role in the healthcare continuum.

According to a report by Plante Moran and the American Senior Housing Association, assisted living communities can differentiate themselves by pivoting to include short-term, post-acute care and care integration and coordination in their offerings.
