Plante Moran Living Forward (PMLF), the senior living development consulting division of Plante Moran Cresa and an affiliated entity of Plante Moran, is excited to welcome Joan Dubnicka to the team. Joan joins the firm as vice president and will provide financial, strategic, and marketing planning services to our senior living clients.
Prior to joining PMLF, Joan was with Sawgrass Partners, primarily serving not-for-profit senior living communities. Throughout her 23-year professional career, she’s served clients through healthcare auditing and consulting and senior living consulting, she’s owned and managed her own business, and she’s been a small business advisor.
“The senior housing market is in transition right now coming out of COVID,” said Dana Wollschlager, partner and practice leader of PMLF. “Organizations need to focus on the long-term strategies that will weather the immediate challenges and allow them to come out the other end stronger than ever. Joan’s experience and expertise make her an asset to our clients as they navigate their current challenges and potential opportunities.”
For Joan, the challenge of serving senior living organizations is the most rewarding part of her job. “I’ve always been drawn to industries that are in transition, like healthcare and senior living,” said Joan. “Senior living is complex because it has a healthcare component, a real estate component, and a service component, providing ‘homes’ to people, both a physical living space (housing) and a purpose-filled life (the community side).”
“We’re excited to have Joan join the team as we help our clients assess their strategic options for campus repositioning, expansion, and renovations in a changing market,” said Dana.
