Excited to get a jump-start on your career? Curious what it’s like inside the world of public accounting and Plante Moran in particular? We thought you might be. That’s why we started Plante Moran Expo, a one-day leadership conference where you’ll gain exposure to the firm and the services we provide to our clients.

Its goal is simple: introduce students to one of the nation’s largest professional services firms — and one of its best places to work. Together with some of our staff, including summer interns, you’ll have a chance to use your business skills and prior work experience to showcase your strengths and talents. You may even discover new career opportunities you hadn’t considered.

You’ll use your business skills and prior work experience to showcase your strengths and talents — and maybe even discover career opportunities you hadn't considered.

Expo includes all kinds of activities, from speed-networking with staff of our different service groups, to attending a panel where new Plante Moran hires share their campus-to-career experience, to getting to know your fellow Expo participants during fun outings.

Rachel, who worked in wealth management in our Detroit office, had this to say: “I participated in Expo the summer before sophomore year. I remember calling my mom right after, and saying I was so impressed by Plante Moran, especially their commitment to work-life balance!”

She continued, “I loved my time at Expo. It helped me understand all the different service areas and what direction I wanted to go. I ended up switching my major from accounting to finance after learning more and knowing I wanted to get into wealth management. Because of Expo, I feel like I’ve known my mentor and peers at Plante Moran forever. It led me to an office visit, which led to an internship, and now that I’ve graduated, I’m full-time!”
