September 29, 2015 Press Release 1 min read

Columbus, Ohio — Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest certified public accounting and business advisory firms, has been named to the Columbus Business First annual list of best places to work in Central Ohio.

Plante Moran is one of 51 organizations to make the list out of 235 nominations. The list is based on feedback from confidential staff surveys.

With 23 offices, including three in Ohio, Plante Moran remains a leader in attracting and retaining staff in the competitive professional services arena through progressive workplace programs and time-tested approaches.

“Creating a culture of exceptional client service while fostering a caring and encouraging work environment for our team has long been a value of Plante Moran,” said Robert Shenton, managing partner of the Columbus office. “Through mutual respect, trust, open communication and transparency, we’ve developed a culture with lower staff turnover and deeper, more strategic, relationships between staff and clients.”

The Best Places to Work program is open to any company or organization with a Central Ohio office that maintains at least 10 full-time employees. Applications are handled through Nebraska-based Quantum Workplace, which administers a survey to employees containing a variety of questions regarding their work environments.

Earlier this year, Plante Moran was named to FORTUNE Magazine’s list of “100 Best Companies to Work For” for the 17th consecutive year, the “100 Best Workplaces for Millennials” and “100 Best Workplaces for Women.”
