Dettman specializes in evaluating, implementing and advising on enterprise risk management activities across the healthcare industry, including emphasis on operational, financial, compliance and information technology risks. She has an extensive background in providing internal audit and risk consulting services to a wide array of health systems across the United States. Her practice has a special emphasis on industry best practices and opportunities to strengthen controls and advising management and governance on risk management.
Dettman holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Iowa State University. Active in her profession and in the community, she is a member of the Catholic Health Association and Institute of Internal Auditors and volunteers with Ronald McDonald House.
She resides in Chicago.
