Plante Moran receives Top Workplaces recognition from Detroit Free Press survey
Southfield, Michigan – For the fifth consecutive year, Plante Moran was named one of the top five workplaces in Michigan in the 2015 Detroit Free Press Top Workplaces survey.

With 23 offices, including 12 in Michigan, Plante Moran remains a leader in attracting and retaining staff in the competitive professional services arena through progressive workplace programs and time-tested approaches.
Speaking to the Detroit Free Press, Plante Moran Group Managing Partner Jim Proppe shared his perspective on the recognition.
"Corporate culture is all-important,” Proppe said. “That culture includes giving staffers lots of freedom, having them work in teams and not burdening them with a lot of rules. “We’re very careful to nurture, to build it, and we’re very careful to pass it down from one generation to the next."
The Top Workplaces competition, which is open to any organization with at least 50 employees in Michigan, is based purely on the results of a 22 question employee survey that measures engagement, satisfaction, and organizational health.
