Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Jon Jenni has joined the firm as director of transfer pricing.

In this new role, Jenni will further develop Plante Moran’s firmwide transfer pricing practice while growing a strong team to serve clients.

Jenni specializes in transfer pricing policy design, advanced pricing agreements and a range of documentation and benchmarking services. In addition to his expertise in U.S. transfer pricing regulations, he’s worked extensively with the Japanese transfer pricing authorities and other major jurisdictions in Asia.

Prior to joining Plante Moran, Jenni was a senior director at BDO USA, where he led the firm’s transfer pricing practice in Southern California. He also served as executive director of Ernst & Young’s transfer pricing practice in Tokyo, Japan. Before his career in public accounting, Jenni served as an economist in the U.S. foreign service, working to resolve international trade disputes with other governments.

Jenni holds a bachelor’s degree in linguistics from University of California, Santa Barbara, a master’s degree in agricultural economics from University of California, Davis and a master’s of business administration from University of California, Berkeley.

He resides in Chicago.
