Chicago - Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Bill Deligiannis has joined the firm as a senior manager in its financial services group.

Deligiannis, who will be a part of the firm’s Chicago office, will take a lead role on the regulatory compliance team. His primary responsibilities include conducting and leading regulatory compliance and Bank Secrecy Act audits and reviews, and training for client financial institutions. Deligiannis looks forward to providing insight and guidance into risk assessments centering on fair lending, UDAAP, and assisting clients in developing their compliance management systems.

Prior to joining Plante Moran, Dligiannis served as the director of fair lending and compliance testing at Flagstar Bank, an $11 billion financial institution. He began his career as an examiner for the Office of Thrift Supervision, served as a compliance/CRA/BSA officer at a community bank in Chicago, and was a compliance consultant for a boutique consulting firm in Chicago as well.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Illinois University and is a Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager (CRCM). He has acted as treasurer and board member for the Fair Housing Center of Metropolitan Detroit, loan committee member for Neighborhood Housing Services, and treasurer and board member for Logan Square Neighborhood Association. Additionally, he was an adult leader for Boy Scout Troop 11 in his hometown, Aurora, IL.
