David Plomin joins Plante Moran’s Chicago office

Chicago – Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that David Plomin has joined the firm as a partner in its Management Consulting Strategy and Operations practice.

In this appointment, David will advise business leaders and organizations on their most critical issues and opportunities. In addition, he will play a major role in the expansion of strategy and operations consulting services in Chicago and will grow Plante Moran’s cross-functional professional services team.

“We’re thrilled to have David join our firm,” said Jeff Jenkins, partner in Plante Moran’s Operations Improvement and Restructuring Consulting practice. “He has a strong record of leading organizations to successful and sustainable results.”

Prior to Plante Moran, Plomin was senior vice president at Clerestory Consulting. He led organization-wide consulting projects including the development and implementation of operational improvement strategies for clients. He was also responsible for staff development and leading staff and client teams.

Plomin holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Knox College and a Master’s of Business Administration from Governors State University. Additionally, he holds the following certifications: Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Quality Education System Instructor, Quality Improvement Process Management and Lead Assessor of Quality Assurance Management Systems. Plomin currently resides in Chicago.
