Chicago, Oct. 3, 2017 — Plante Moran, one of the nation’s largest public accounting and business advisory firms, is pleased to announce that Ivy Anderson has joined the firm as a principal in its higher education consulting practice focusing on information technology.

Anderson, who will work from the firm’s Chicago Riverside office, specializes in helping her clients define strategy and governance models, evaluate and justify large technology investments and achieve efficiencies and effectiveness through improved technology management. With more than 25 years of consulting experience, Anderson specializes in IT capability assessments, government ERP activity, business case development, sourcing effectiveness, vendor analysis and strategic planning.

Prior to joining Plante Moran, Anderson worked in the public sector consulting practice for Gartner Consulting, where she advised on IT management issues, including IT assessments, IT sourcing, vendor selection, IT strategy and program and portfolio management in education, justice/public safety, administration and health and human services. Before that, she worked for Accenture on IT management and strategy consulting, with a focus on education and health and human services in the public sector.

Anderson received a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Kettering University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Anderson resides in Chicago.
