Plante Moran is excited to announce that it’s been named to the Vault Accounting 50, a ranking of the best accounting firms to work for based on a survey of 8,800 accountants.

The full list, which can be found at vault.com, ranks Plante Moran No. 6 overall and No. 1 in the following categories:

  • Quality of Life Rankings
  • Business Outlook
  • Client Interaction
  • Culture
  • Firm Leadership
  • Hours
  • Internal Mobility
  • Overall Satisfaction
  • Relationships with Supervisors
  • Travel Requirements
  • Vacation Policies
  • Work/Life Balance

In addition to the firm’s rankings, survey comments describe the firm as an “inviting, happy place to work” and as being “known for its work/life balance.” Respondents also shared that the firm’s “caring culture is irreplaceable” and “the people here are so good to work with that we spend time together outside of work.”

The Vault Accounting 50 rankings are the result of Vault’s annual accounting survey, conducted earlier this year. The list is compiled using a weighted formula that reflects the issues accounting professionals care most about, combining quality of life rankings (such as culture, satisfaction, work/life balance, and compensation) with overall prestige.
