Ryan Abdoo, CPA, CGMA, joined Plante Moran in 2004 and is based in the firm’s Chicago Riverside office. He is the industry technical leader for financial institutions and mortgage and consumer finance companies. He serves both public and private institutions, performs quality control reviews and advises his team so they stay on the forefront of industry and regulatory developments. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. Abdoo resides in Chicago.
Ron Cook, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2014 and is based in the firm’s Chicago Riverside office. Cook is the leader of the firm’s Illinois state and local tax practice where he helps clients navigate the complexities of state and local taxes. He received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University. He resides in Long Grove, Ill.
Bob Denninger, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2004 and is based in the firm’s Schaumburg office. As a leader within the assurance group, he focuses on serving the needs of middle-market manufacturing and distribution companies with a specialization in the food and beverage sector. He received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He resides in Elmhurst, Ill.
Jason Durant, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 1997 and is the tax director of the firm’s Kalamazoo office. With more than 20 years of experience, he provides review, compilation, tax and business advisory services to privately held commercial businesses in the manufacturing and distribution and services industries. Durant earned his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Western Michigan University. He resides in Portage, Mich.
Christina Hardy, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2000 and is based out of the firm’s St. Joseph office. She is the firm’s West Michigan not-for-profit leader, a member of the firm’s not-for-profit quality review group and helps lead the firm’s Women in Leadership initiative. With expertise in the nonprofit industry, she specializes in human service organizations, foundations, economic development organizations and grant-funded organizations. She received her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Michigan State University. Hardy resides in St. Joseph, Mich.
Kristin Hunt, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2005 and is based in the firm’s Detroit office. She has 20 years of experience providing assurance services to local governments and not-for-profit organizations, and she is one of the firm’s governmental single audit specialists. She received her bachelor’s degree from Capital University in Ohio. Hunt resides in Flat Rock, Mich.
Kentaro Isa, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2012 and leads the firm’s Japanese business services practice in Ohio. Isa advises Japanese-owned manufacturing and distribution companies with North American locations on changes in the U.S. business environment, including new accounting standards in the United States and Japan, tax reforms, internal controls and cybersecurity. He received his bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Tokyo. Isa resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Nevra Kreger, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2004 and is based in the firm’s Southfield office. She serves middle-market private equity-owned organizations throughout the life cycle of the platform company’s investment. Her expertise includes due diligence, opening balance sheet valuation, purchase price allocation matters, stock options and other equity-based compensation. Kreger resides in Franklin, Mich.
Rich Lies, CFA, ASA, joined Plante Moran in 2004 and is based in the Chicago Riverside office. He specializes in the valuation of closely held equity securities, partnership interests and intangible assets, such as technology, intellectual property, trade names, customer relationships and noncompetition agreements. He received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Northwestern University and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Iowa. He resides in Mount Prospect, Ill.
Jeremy Louters, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2003 and is based out of the firm’s Grand Rapids office. He specializes in providing audit and review services to businesses with various ownership models, including closely held, private equity, franchisees or franchisors and internationally active businesses in the manufacturing industry, as well as various sectors within the service industry, such as consumer goods, retail, technology companies and architecture and engineering firms. He received his bachelor’s degree in accountancy from Calvin College. Louters resides in Grand Rapids, Mich.
Sarah Pavelek, CISSP, CRISC, joined Plante Moran in 2000 and is based in the firm’s Southfield West office. Pavelek is a leader in the firm’s cybersecurity practice where she assists her clients in understanding cybersecurity needs, specializing in Service and Organization Controls (SOC) requirements and whether their control structure meets those requirements. She has experience performing and leading projects in the areas of SOC, IT governance, information security risk management and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act. Pavelek received her bachelor’s degree in accounting and computer science from the University of Alabama. She resides in Milford, Mich.
Kelly Perlman, CPA, joined Plante Moran in 2004 and is the leader of the housing and community development group for Ohio where she specializes in HUD financing and low-income housing tax credits. She frequently advises owners, developers and management companies on operational efficiency and improving internal controls. Perlman received her bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from The Ohio State University. She resides in Powell, Ohio.
Monti Piccioni, CPIM, joined Plante Moran in 2008 and is the firm’s leader of the Plex Manufacturing Cloud team. He helps clients justify, select, implement and optimize ERP solutions to increase overall company performance and efficiencies. He is a Plex Accredited Implementation Specialist. Piccioni earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial systems and engineering from The Ohio State University. Piccioni resides in Lewis Center, Ohio.
Paul Theriault, PE, LEED AP, joined Plante Moran Cresa in 2006 and is based in the firm’s Southfield East office. He is the director of Cresa’s program management practice where he oversees $2.5 billion in ongoing capital projects and a team of more than 30 staff members. His expertise includes programming and planning, design and construction, procurement, contracts and risk management. Theriault received his bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan. He resides in Milford, Mich.
Amanda Ward, CPA, MBA, joined Plante Moran in 2003 and is based in the firm’s Southfield office. She is the firm’s single audit industry technical leader. She assists a variety of not-for-profit, healthcare, and public sector clients with their accounting, auditing and grants management needs. She earned both her bachelor’s degree in accounting and her master’s degree from Wayne State University. Ward resides in Eastpointe, Mich.
Mark Warner joined Plante Moran in 2000 and is based in the firm’s Southfield office. Warner is a leader in the firm’s public sector practice where he provides independent and objective advice on best practices for technology deployment. He assists his local government clients with project management, facilitation, technology planning and the selection and implementation of technology systems. He received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Hillsdale College. Warner resides in Royal Oak, Mich.
Dana Wollschlager, AHM, CRM, COM, joined Plante Moran Living Forward in 2013 and is based in the Chicago Riverside office. She is the national senior living development practice leader. Wollschlager specializes in advising senior living owners and operators on development and operational best practices, such as strategic planning, market feasibility, financial feasibility, regulatory compliance, project management, construction oversight and operational efficiencies. She attended the University of Minnesota. Wollschlager lives in Pingree Grove, Ill.
