Plante Moran has earned 2018 Top Workplaces awards from the Detroit Free Press and The Chicago Tribune, in partnership with Philadelphia-based Energage. The firm ranked third in the large company category in Detroit and ninth in the midsize category in Chicago.

The rankings are based on staff surveys that consider workplace merits ranging from work-life balance to confidence in company leadership.

In an interview with the Free Press, Plante Moran Group Managing Partner Terri Pollock cited the firm’s team-partner and team-buddy systems as unique to the firm’s culture, as well as the WorkFlex program and Diversity Council that support staff goals and aspirations in and out of the workplace. The firm’s Women in Leadership program, which has led to a significant increase in women partners at the firm, was also cited as a key differentiator.
