Crain’s Detroit Business highlights Plante Moran’s centennial anniversary in their latest article featuring Managing Partner Jim Proppe.
Two business professionals talking and drinking coffee in a modern, white conference room.In honor of the firm’s 100th anniversary, Managing Partner Jim Proppe sat down with Crain’s Detroit Business to share why our culture is the strength behind our longevity, what our plans are for celebrating the firm’s centennial, and how we’ll continue to evolve over the next 100 years. Here’s a look at what he had to say:

“The firm really was created with the vision that if you create an organization that focuses heavily on people, then those folks in turn will provide great service to clients. “That’s our overall philosophy … to take care of the people and then the people will in turn, take care of the clients and serve them really well … That’s never changed. How you go about doing that absolutely has to evolve. And you have to make those changes as you go along in your history.”

Proppe also reflects on his proudest moments over the past seven years as Plante Moran’s managing partner, as well as what to expect when managing partner-elect Jason Drake takes the helm this summer.
