As part of our wealth management industry group, I provide independent, objective, and holistic tax compliance and planning services to clients of all sizes. I specialize in individual and high-net-worth taxation and work with family-held businesses owners in the real estate, construction, manufacturing, and distribution industries.
My strong desire to help people in a complex area that affects everyone, from the multibillionaire to the starving artist, is what fuels me every day. My clients appreciate that I listen closely to their needs and provide thorough, timely responses.
In nearly 10 years at the firm, I’ve been instrumental in helping to grow the Toledo office and the wealth management tax practice. I’m known as the life of the party, and I love organizing social events, competing in (and winning) our friendly office competitions like cornhole tournaments and chili cook-offs, and lightening the mood with a joke or three.
I hold the title of vice president and director of programming for the Toledo Estate Planning Council and belong to the OSCPA. I also work with the EPIC, the Toledo Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Outreach, the Toledo Zoo Young Professionals for Animal Conservation, and the Toledo Museum of Art Circle. I have a B.B.A. and an M.Acc. from the University of Toledo.
When I’m not at work, I enjoy golf, even though I’m terrible at it. I’m a huge sports fan, and the Green Bay Packers are by far my favorite team. I also enjoy supporting our local minor league sports teams, the Toledo Walleye and Toledo Mud Hens. I’ve built quite the collection of autographed and game-used jerseys from both teams. If I’m not on the golf course or at a sporting event, I’m out on the Maumee River on our pontoon boat with my wife and our families or closest friends.
