With a deep understanding of technology and risk in the business environment, I help clients address compliance requirements, evaluate IT risks in their processes, and identify creative solutions to remediate security control weaknesses. My expertise includes security assurance, IT governance, IT risk management, and business process optimization. I predominantly serve clients in government, education, and healthcare.The opportunity to create solutions that assist clients with their challenges is what drew me to this career. The world of IT risk is rapidly changing, and it’s satisfying to be at the forefront of industry developments and steer my clients toward a path and processes that safeguard their risks and controls.
Because of my 20 years of experience in this field, I’m often asked to speak at a variety of events. Most recently, I’ve presented to the Florida Government Finance Officials Association (national and local chapters), the Illinois Government Finance Officials Association, and at the Michigan Association of CPAs Conference, and the Texas Association of School Business Officials Conference. I’m a member of the AICPA.
I received my B.S. in accounting from North Carolina A&T State University.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, cooking, and spending time with my wife.
