I serve middle-market clients in the construction, real estate, energy, and oil and gas industries. In this role, I specialize in publicly traded and private equity-backed organizations and have extensive expertise in business combinations, debt and equity transactions, derivatives, and other fair value-related items.
In addition to my deep industry knowledge, my clients appreciate my accessibility and that I’m proactive on technical issues. I enjoy having strategy discussions with clients that yield long-term benefits because I truly care about their successes. My colleagues also appreciate that I’m receptive to new ideas and just as dedicated to their development and success.
With more than 15 years of experience, I’ve spoken at many industry conferences and events hosted by the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies (COPAS). Recent topics include current and developing technical accounting issues as well as women in leadership.
I’m a member of the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs. I’m heavily involved with COPAS where I’m a former president and current board member. I received a B.S. in business administration with an emphasis in accounting from the University of Colorado. Because of my allegiance to the University of Colorado, I’m affiliated with the Leeds School of Business’s Professional Mentorship Program.
My family spends a lot of time riding and taking care of our horses, which is great because it’s something we can all enjoy together. I also love sailing and gardening.
