As a leader in our audit practice, I help private equity-owned organizations facilitate smooth and productive relationships with all stakeholders, so they can focus their energy on their businesses. I have extensive experience with public and private company financial statement audits, internal controls, and SOX Compliance. Most of my clients are middle-market, private equity-owned organizations in a variety of industries. I also serve clients in the real estate and oil and gas industries.
My clients appreciate that I understand their business models, and I strive to deliver nothing less than excellent service. I love learning and helping people — it’s what attracted me to this career.
In the more than 15 years I’ve been with the firm, I’ve helped build a number of practice areas, and I’ve coached and mentored leaders to run these areas, including our risk advisory and private equity practices. I’ve also been a key member of the development of our oil and gas practice in the Rocky Mountain region. Previously, I assisted clients with financial statement audits as well as mergers and acquisitions while working for a Big Four firm.
I belong to the AICPA and the Colorado Society of CPAs. I’m on the advisory board of the University of Colorado, and I’m a member of the board of Quarterly Forum, a Colorado-based leadership organization that connects, educates, and inspires the state’s best emerging community leaders. I received my B.S. in accounting from the University of Colorado. I’m a recognized Colorado Governors Fellow.
Like many other Coloradoans, my husband and I love the outdoors. We live in the mountains of Colorado and spend as much time as possible outside — hiking, mountain biking, camping, snow skiing, and photographing wildlife.
