A tax partner with Plante Moran, Dave has 28 years of experience providing accounting, tax and consulting services to business owners in the construction, manufacturing, and service industries, which include hospitality, medical practices, restaurants, and engineering entities. Known for his strong client relationships, Dave stays in frequent contact with closely-held companies to monitor operating results and help them prosper in any economic condition.

Dave specializes in helping clients implement plans to meet their short- and long-term viability needs.  Most recently, his focus has been advising closely-held businesses regarding monitoring overhead costs to improve their positions and competitive advantage in the marketplace.

David speaks often with clients on topics of current interest in the areas of financial and tax reporting. He’s also spoken to bankers and attorneys regarding changing financial standards and tax regulation changes. He has a B.B.A. in accounting from the University of Michigan and is a recipient of the University of Michigan Maize and Blue Award for distinguished scholarship.
