As the leader of the firm's retirement plan investment advisory practice for the Western Michigan region, I help individuals and businesses look to the future by taking a holistic approach to their financial wellness. In my role with Plante Moran Financial Advisors, I work with a wide variety of organizations — from manufacturers to healthcare providers — and my typical business client sponsors a retirement plan that has $2 million to $800 million in assets.
My clients appreciate the fact that I pay attention to the financial details. I recognize that sound retirement planning starts with thorough due diligence on investments, and our firm is often praised for its rigorous process. In fact, large, well-known asset management firms have told us that our investment due diligence process is more comprehensive than that of most other firms.
I have a passion for helping people retire successfully, and it shows. I’m a member of the National Association of Plan Advisors, and I’ve been a NAPA finalist for the 401(k) Advisor Leadership Award and was named one of NAPA’s Top Women Advisors for 2017 and 2018. I’m often asked to speak to clients and at conferences about industry trends, best practices, and regulatory updates. I also appreciate the chance to cross-promote other services our firm offers — especially cybersecurity and audit, because in today’s world, business is global and investing doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
I have a B.A. in accounting from Michigan State University. When I’m not in the office, I enjoy playing golf, boating, and especially spending time with my family and friends.
