People might not guess it right away, but I’m a motorcycle guy. Right now, I only have three, which is probably two too many since I can only ride one at a time — but it’s fun having choices.

Experience

I improve clients’ overall operations from a risk management perspective. I specialize in SOX compliance, strategic planning, internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing, and the implementation of a comprehensive enterprise risk framework.

I provide risk-based consulting services to clients in all industries, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution, real estate, construction, and health care. Since no company is immune to risk, I advise businesses in the middle-market range as well as large publicly traded companies.

Clients appreciate that our ERS team becomes entrenched in their operations. We have a very supportive, consultative approach where we abide by the philosophy that it’s our people, not our processors, that we offer clients. I like to think I have a relaxed sense of humor while working with clients, but what I hope they remember most is how I advocate on their behalf.

It’s been my privilege to cultivate a strong group of professionals on our ERS team. When we identify, select, and retain great staff members, it makes our practice stronger, and it gives us more opportunities to help clients succeed.

Because of my expertise, I was featured in a cover story for CIO magazine discussing risk management strategies. I’m a member of the Institute of Internal Auditors and the Institute for Internal Controls. I have a B.S. in accounting from Ball State University’s Miller College of Business and an M.B.A. from Indiana Wesleyan University.
